Travel Insurance 

WHEN YOU NEXT GO OVERSEAS ON A HOLIDAY OR TO PARTICIPATE IN A YACHTING REGATTA:


To arrange Travel Insurance which includes special Travel Insurance for Yachties, you need to follow the following steps:


INSTRUCTIONS TO ARRANGE COVER:
 

  1. Please read the Financial Services Guide: Click here (pdf format), and print off a copy for you to keep before completing the application form.

  2. Please note that this policy will not cover Third Party Liability Coverage attaching to a waterborne craft, as, for that cover, you will need to take out our Overseas Yacht Insurance Coverage detailed elsewhere on our website. If you charter a boat overseas and you need that Liability cover, then you take out that boat insurance coverage for the minimum sum insured on the hull as that gives you the $5M Third Party Liability Cover. 

  3. The Policy Wording is endorsed to note the following, `It is hereby agreed and declared that in addition to all of the exclusions contained in this policy no compensation will be payable in respect of any loss directly or indirectly resulting from or occurring during participation in Category 1 or Category 0 events. In all other respects the policy remains unaltered. This policy will cover people whilst participating in yachting events including racing, excluding power boat racing'.

  4. Please note that there is no renewal of this insurance available and should an extension of cover be required, or new cover by required you will need to reapply.
